Nothing quite substitutes for visiting Mercersburg Academy in person. Seeing really is believing.
One of the best ways to get to know Mercersburg Academy is to come to campus and meet our students, faculty, and staff, see our facilities, and explore our grounds. A typical visit, which includes a student-led tour and an interview with an admission counselor, takes place on a weekday and lasts about two and a half hours.
Families are asked to schedule their visit several weeks in advance of their desired appointment date if possible. Please call the Admission Office at 717-328-6173 or email us using the button below to arrange your campus visit.
If you’re interested in a particular athletic team, performing arts group, or one of our many clubs and organizations, let us know ahead of time and we’ll try to arrange for you to meet with the adviser or coach of a specific program.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, please note that all members of your party must wear a mask for the entirety of your visit.
Mercersburg requires a personal interview as part of the application process. Often this interview follows the campus tour, though it may also be planned for a separate in-person visit or virtual appointment.
The interview is designed as a two-way conversation rather than a series of structured questions. We want to gain a better understanding of who you are and what you like to do, but we also want you to have the opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about Mercersburg Academy’s values and traditions.
Prospective students meet one-on-one with an admission counselor for 30 minutes, and parents will also spend approximately 30 minutes speaking with the same admission counselor.
