Our commitment to excellence—and what that means for you.

As camp professionals, we understand that your biggest concern is the safety of your child. We also know you have goals for your child related to the powerful lessons the camp experience provides in terms of relationships, character building, skill development, and healthy living. We share those same goals, which is why we have taken the step to be accredited by the American Camp Association—a distinction held by only 25 percent of camps in the United States.

To earn this accreditation, Mercersburg underwent a rigorous external review of such areas as fire protection, food service, transportation, health and wellness, first aid, emergency preparedness, employee screening, adult-to-camper supervision ratios, aquatic and adventure programming, etc. This accreditation helps to ensure the safety and well-being of every camper in our care.
