Seniors Ola Kwasniewski (#10) and Madi Norris (#18) battle for possession

All four goals for the victorious White Team in its 4–2 win over the Blue Team in the concluding 2020 Blue/White Series field hockey contest were scored by seniors October 31 on Regents’ Field. Ola Kwasniewski ’21 scored twice and Taylor Chepren ’21 and Virginia Jones ’21 added tallies for the White.

Kwasniewski scored for the White before Hailey Chepren ’23 got the equalizer for the Blue squad to send things to halftime tied at 1–1. (The teams played five players per side and with 15-minute halves).

The game stayed deadlocked until Kwasniewski’s second goal, which came with 8:25 left in the contest. Just 80 seconds later, Bridget Ahlgren ’22 tied the game for the Blue with 7:05 to play, but Taylor Chepren ’21 took a pass from Cameron Dotson ’23 and scored at the 6:39 mark to give the White a lead it wouldn’t relinquish. Jones tacked on the final goal of the game with 10 seconds left off an assist from Taylor Chepren for a 4–2 win.

It was the final field hockey contest at Mercersburg for Chepren, Kwasniewski, Jones, and Madi Norris ’21.
