Fall Student Artwork Spotlighted in Cofrin Gallery
The Fall Student Art Show, spotlighting student artwork from the fall term at Mercersburg Academy, is now on display in the Burgin Center for the Arts’ Cofrin Gallery. A dessert reception was held December 7 in the Cofrin Gallery.
A total of 48 student artists are featured in the show, culminated from introductory classes in drawing, painting, and photography from the fall term taught by faculty members Sydney Caretti (painting and drawing) and Kristen Pixler (photography).
Immediately following the December 7 reception, Blue Review (the school’s student arts and literary journal) and the Art Club hosted a Creative Cafe for students in the Burgin Center for the Arts’ Hale Studio Theatre.
The Fall Student Art Show runs through December 19.
