Merit Scholarships

While most financial aid at Mercersburg comes in the form of need-based grants and loans, merit scholarships are offered for two purposes: to further assist families in providing their children with an outstanding educational experience, and to recognize students with exceptional academic records, standardized test results, and personal qualities as measured by extracurricular participation, personal character, and motivation.

Mercersburg Academy offers a wide range of merit-based scholarships that have differing criteria (listed below). All incoming domestic applicants are considered for the merit scholarship for which they qualify. If identified as a potential candidate for a merit scholarship, applicants will be notified and provided with an opportunity to further demonstrate their interest in Mecersburg.
