Book Clubs

The library is proud to sponsor two student book clubs. In the past, clubs have included a general fiction club and a science fiction/fantasy club. The clubs meet once a month and each member who attends the meetings receives a copy of the book, courtesy of the Library.

Samples of past selections chosen include Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell,  Mudbound by Hillary Jordan and The Secret History by Donna Tartt.

Anyone interested can join by emailing Ms. Patterson at  pattersona@mercersburg.edu

Proctors & Weekend Library Assistants

Students staff the circulation desk on nights and weekends. These  students have been chosen to serve as Lenfest Proctors and Weekend Library Assistants. They run the pass system, help create displays, and assist the library staff.

Inter-Library Loan (ILL)

Can’t find what you need on our shelves? Don’t worry- we have other ways of getting exactly what you’re looking for. If we don’t have a book, article, or other item, we can borrow it from another library so that you can check it out (we call this inter-library loan). Books usually take a week to arrive so plan ahead!  Stop by the circulation desk, or use the form found on the “Have a Question?” page to request a book or article that the library does not have.
