Mercersburg’s Office of Global Programs & Initiatives
As part of Mercersburg’s mission statement, we state that, “Mercersburg Academy prepares young people from diverse backgrounds for college and for life in a global community.”
In an effort to facilitate student understanding of what living within a global community means, the Office of Global Programs and Initiatives exists to oversee that all students have access to a global learning at some point during their time at Mercersburg. Some of the experiences to which students may have access are:
travel programs with faculty members over spring break or summer
travel programs with faculty members in summer exchange programs with our partner schools in Chile, China, France, Germany, or Spain
class or activity-specific opportunities such as robotics or dance competitions
Read more about this year's break travel opportunities below. If you have any questions about break travel, please contact Leah Rockwell, director of global programs and initiatives, at 717-328-6132 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
