Break Travel

If your student is interested in a travel or exchange program, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a financial aid form if you intend to request financial aid for a program by Oct. 10.

  2. Submit a permission and release waiver for each program in which your child is interested (early October) by Oct 26. The permission and release waiver essentially serves as formal application for a travel program. Some programs (exchanges, Costa Rica field experience, Symposium) require an application on the part of the student. Students will be notified of this expectation.

  3. When you are notified of the financial aid package offered to you by the school for a program, confirm your child’s willingness to participate in the program by returning the offer, signed and dated, that you agree to the amount offered to you and will pay it if your child is selected.

  4. When you are notified that your child has been selected to participate in the travel program of his or her choice, confirm your child’s participation in the program by making your $400.00 deposit. If the deposit of $400.00 is not received, your child will lose his/her spot on the travel program.

  5. After your $400.00 deposit is received, the balance of the the travel program will be billed by the Business Office to the student’s account.
