Jim BrinsonCarillon recitals by a trio of carillonneurs on Mercersburg Academy’s Swoope Carillon have been postponed until further notice due to the closure of campus surrounding the nationwide/worldwide outbreak of coronavirus. Henry O’Brien ’20Mercersburg’s boys’ varsity squash team reached the championship match of the Division V draw at the 2020 HEAD US Squash High School Nationals before suffering a 6-1 loss in the finals to Woodberry Forest (VA) School February 23 at Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. Addie Geitner ’21Addie Geitner ’21 and James Colwell ’20 won individual events and Mercersburg athletes set or tied four different school records at the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Prep League Indoor Track & Field Championships February 15 in Lawrenceville, NJ.
