Jim BrinsonCarillon recitals by a trio of carillonneurs on Mercersburg Academy’s Swoope Carillon have been postponed until further notice due to the closure of campus surrounding the nationwide/worldwide outbreak of coronavirus. Jake Evert ’20 on the podium at EasternsMercersburg’s boys took second and the Blue Storm girls earned a fifth-place finish at the Eastern Interscholastic Swimming and Diving Championships February 14-15. CJ Hoffman ’23Linden Amster ’23Mercersburg Academy student trumpet player Linden Amster ’23 was chosen for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association’s 2020 District 7 Band.  Amster (of Gettysburg, PA) successfully auditioned December 7 at the PMEA auditions, which were held at Eastern York Senior High School in Wrightsville, PA.
