As fall rolls in, I hope you will begin thinking about your summer plans with me. My calendar is marked with our 20th reunion from June 6-9.
I was on campus a few weeks ago for an Alumni Council meeting. So many things felt just the same as they had 20 years ago—students were rushing across campus chatting in small groups to get from their last classes to practice and then dinner. The excitement of Step Songs and a weekend of sports hung in the air along with that familiar smell of a farming town in fall. At the same time, there were so many updates to what students were experiencing—they were leaving classes like Robotics and The Business of Sport. They were headed to beautiful new athletics facilities and then to dinner in the newly-unveiled Hale Field House.
All this is to say that our reunion will be filled with time to catch up and reminisce over all the traditions that we hold dear to our time at Mercersburg, as well as the opportunity to experience how the school has grown and changed since we left.
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Registration opens in February!
