Mercersburg’s wrestling team defeated Potomac School (VA) and host St. James School in its first dual matches of the season January 15 at St. James in Hagerstown, MD. The Blue Storm defeated Potomac 54–18 and followed it up with a 48–23 win over the host Saints.

Against Potomac, Mercersburg won all four matches that were not forfeits one way or the other, with Daniel Gotera ’22 (120 pounds), Alex Forrester ’23 (132), Ethan Xin ’23 (138), and Holden Walker ’23 (182) all winning by fall.
