Blair Academy defeated a short-handed Blue Storm varsity volleyball team 3-1 in a MAPL matchup in Mercersburg October 15.

Blair jumped out to an early lead with 25-21 and 25-23 wins in the first two sets, but Mercersburg rallied to take the third set 25-17. The Buccaneers pulled out the match win with a 25-22 victory in set #4.

Rachel Hull '23 (15) and Alli Caretti '26 (10) led the Storm in kills with Caretti also serving up four aces. Eleana Sandy '24, Charlotte D'Arabian '24 and Kam Jenkins '26 had six digs each.

Mercersburg (3-8 overall, 0-2 MAPL) hosts Lighthouse Christian Academy (Cumberland, MD) in its next match on Saturday, October 22 at 2 p.m.
