Mercersburg defeated Mid-Atlantic Prep League opponent Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) 9-0 in boys' and 7-2 in girls' varsity squash matches played in the Davenport Squash Center January 28.

For the boys' team, Santiago Medina '24, Adrian Guijarro '25, Fawad Jan '25, Azian Subhani '23, Frances Betkowski '23, Danny Adusei-Poku '23, and Dawson Hastings '23 all won by 3-0 scores while Daniel Zhong '23 and Sidarth Shah '26 won by default.

In the girls' match, Emilia Falconi '23, Martina Vega '23, Greta Lawler '23, Coco Zhai '24, and Mogere Nyakoe '25 all won in shutouts while Hisano Enomoto '25 had to go to four games and Jamie Hyung '23 endured a back and forth affair that ended with a 3-2 win.

The girls' will host Lancaster (PA) Country Day on Wednesday, February 1 at 4 pm while the boys visit Potomac School (McLean, VA) on the same date and time.
