Mercersburg's varsity and JV volleyball teams swept visiting Broadfording Christian Academy September 29.

The JV's kicked things off with a 2-0 victory over the Lions, bringing them to a record of 3-3 for the season, and the varsity followed with a 3-0 shutout.

Alli Caretti '26 had a big night with 10 kills at the net, followed closely by Morgan Fisher '23 with 9.  Eliana Sandy '24 had a strong service night with 8 aces and Priscilla Lee '23 performed well in her role as setter, delivering 23 assists.  Rachel Hull '23 led the team with 8 digs, followed closely by Charlotte D'Arabian '24 with 7 and Sarah Howley '26 with 6.  JV stat leaders were Shine Jo '25 with 6 aces and 12 digs and Elena Sanz Perez '25, who had 5 kills and added 4 aces.

The win snaps a three-game varsity losing streak and moves the Blue Storm to 2-5 overall.  Next up is a home matchup against Holton-Arms school (Bethesda, MD) on Saturday, October 1 with the JV contest beginning at 1 p.m. and the varsity following at 2 p.m.
