Mercersburg's track & field teams competed in an unscored meet at Hill School (Pottstown, PA) May 4, and produced several outstanding performances.

For the girls', Erika Sowah '24 won both the Triple Jump and 400M Dash while Anne Sehon '25 won the 800M and Marlo Williams took the Javelin. On the boys' side, Charlie Xu '26 took first in both the 100M and 200M Dash, and The Force was definitely with Winston Watkins '25 on this day as he won the 800M by just 0.2 seconds over teammate Imangali Zhakan '26 and then won the 1600M by the same slim margin over teammate Jake Cruikshank '24. Bryson Brown '24 completed the distance sweep for the Storm by taking the 3200M.

"We now go into prep mode for the MAPL Championship Meet this Saturday at Lawrenceville," said head coach Nikki Walker. "The kids seem ready. This week we need to focus on rest and recovery."

That MAPL meet begins at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 11.
