Track & Field Squads Win Home Opener

Collin Metcalf ’22, Chris Watson ’22, and Arden Phoenix ’22 won two individual events apiece to lead Mercersburg’s boys’ and girls’ outdoor track & field squads to victory April 12 in the Mercersburg Mid-Week Spring Meet at the Curran Track.

It was the Blue Storm’s first home meet of the season after three road dates to open 2022.

Metcalf earned victories in the boys’ javelin and high jump, Watson took first in the boys’ 100m and long jump (and also ran a leg for the victorious 4x400m relay quartet), and Phoenix placed first in the girls’ discus and javelin.
