Mercersburg’s swimmers and divers earned victories over traditional rival Kiski (boys) and local foe St. Maria Goretti (boys and girls) February 8 in a meet scored as a double dual meet in the Lloyd Aquatic Center’s Furnary Pool.

The Blue Storm boys defeated Kiski 88.5–66.5 and Goretti 93–34, with the Storm girls prevailing over Goretti by a count of 92–43.

The win over Kiski gives Mercersburg a point in the yearlong Centennial Cup standings. 

Mercersburg’s divers will compete Saturday, February 12, at the Mid-Atlantic Prep League Diving Invitational at The Hill School in Pottstown, PA. The Blue Storm swimmers will now turn their full attention to the Eastern Interscholastic Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held February 25–26 at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
