Mercersburg outscored host National Cathedral School (Washington, DC) 17-2 in the third quarter en route to a convincing 55-25 victory in a girls' varsity basketball game February 6.

The Storm was in control all the way, with an 11-point lead at halftime, but the third quarter explosion really put the game away. Raquel Cordero Cordoba '24 led Mercersburg with 14 points while Madison Goodhart '24 had 11.  Annie Mohr '26 had 9 points and Nia Henley '24 added 7 as Mercersburg distributed the scoring.

The win was the sixth in the last seven games for the girls, who now host Lawrenceville in the first round of the MAPL tournament on Thursday, February 8 at 5 pm.
