The Mercersburg girls' swim team defeated Mount Saint Joseph high school (Baltimore, MD) 104-71 while the boys' fell to LaSalle College high school (Wyndmoor, PA) 111-74 in a swim meet held at the Lloyd Aquatic Center January 27.

First place finishers for the girls' included Ingrid Janney '24 (200 Free), Xiomara Del Rosario '26 (200 IM), Sophie Koroma '26 (50 Free), Luntu Radebe '25 (Diving), Crystal Yuen '24 (100 Butterfly), and Lily Gugino '24 (500 Free). The boys' had several strong performances, and first place finishes from Jayden Kwon '27 (200 IM and 100 Back), Borry Jiang '27 (50 Free), Alex Van Ess '24 (Diving), and Nick Green '25 (100 Butterfly), but LaSalle used its team depth to win two of the three relays and built up points with lots of top five finishes across the meet.

Both swim teams will compete at the MAPL Championships on Saturday, February 3 at Peddie School (Hightstown, NJ).
