Softball Tops Friends School of Baltimore 9-7
Mercersburg jumped out to an early lead and held on for a 9-7 softball victory over Friends School of Baltimore April 6.
The Blue Storm led 9-4 after three innings, and then relied on pitcher Quin Caretti '23 to hold the Quakers in check from that point. Caretti gave up just three earned runs and struck out fifteen hitters in the complete game win. Kam Jenkins '26, Ava Guzic '25, Alli Caretti '26 and Quin Caretti '24 had two hits each to lead the well balanced offense.
Mercersburg (2-4) hosts Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA) on Saturday, April 8 at noon.
