Mercersburg defeated visiting Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA) 14-4 in a softball game that was shortened to five innings April 8.

The Blue Storm got ahead early with five runs in the bottom of the first highlighted by an RBI triple from Kam Jenkins '26 and a three-run single from pitcher Quin Caretti '24. Mercersburg expanded the lead to 13-2 after three innings and the game was halted in the fifth due to the 10-run rule. Alli Caretti '26 and Ava Guzic '25 had two hits each for the Storm while Guzic and Jenkins each scored three runs. Quin Caretti pitched the whole way, scattering five hits while recording six strikeouts.

Mercersburg (3-4) hosts Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD) on Thursday, April 13 at 4:30 pm.
