Mercersburg blanked visiting Madeira (McLean, VA) 15-0 in a varsity softball game April 14 that was part of the M Cup competition between the two schools.

Quin Caretti '24 gave up just one hit and struck out five in four innings of work as the game was shortened due to the 15-run rule. The Blue Storm exploded for 9 runs in the first inning and tacked on 2 in the third and 4 in the fourth to put the game away.

Kam Jenkins '26, Pritz Pritzker '25, and Alli Caretti '26 had two hits each and Caretti led the team in RBI with four. Ava Guzic '25 scored four times from the leadoff spot to lead the team in that category.

Mercersburg (4-5) hosts Saint James (Hagerstown, MD) on Wednesday, April 19 at 4:30 pm.
