Springside Chestnut Hill Academy defeated visiting Mercersburg 10-0 in a PAISAA softball tournament game May 16.

The Storm secured the #8 seed in the tournament and knocked off Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA) in the first round to advance to face #1 seeded Springside in the quarterfinals. But they ran into a tough opponent on the mound who struck out eight while giving up just one hit. Mercersburg did a nice job working its way out of several jams defensively in the early innings, but the Blue Devils put together a big rally in the fifth to grab the victory.

The Storm finished the season with an overall record of 10-11.
