Mercersburg Academy is excited to announce its Reunion Weekend 2026, taking place June 5 through 7 on the school campus. This year’s event will welcome more than 400 alumni and guests from across the United States and around the world to reconnect and celebrate the enduring spirit of Mercersburg. 

Reunion Weekend 2026 will honor milestone reunions for classes ending in 1s and 6s, with attendees representing classes from 1951 through 2021. Alumni will gather to rekindle friendships, revisit cherished memories, and engage with the school community. 

Colleen McNulty, director of parent and alumni relations, shared, “Reunion Weekend is about coming home. It’s an opportunity for alumni to reunite not just with the campus, but with the friends and faculty who left a lasting mark on their lives. Seeing them together is a wonderful reflection of their deep connections to Mercersburg.”

This year’s lineup features a dynamic mix of workshops, guided tours, interactive mini-classes, and alumni-led panels. Dive into everything from the latest in AI and world population dynamics to the rich history and traditions of the Mercersburg campus. 

Weekend highlights include:

• Live mural artist, Nigel Sussman '01
• Keynote Speaker: Charlie Bell '71: One Lap of America, on Foot
• Hawks and Owls in Mercersburg with Jim Malone P '01, '03, science faculty
• AI and Technology with Dr. Julia Stojak Maurer '90, P '18, '20, '22, '23, '28, associate head of school for school life
• Jay Howley '21, artist reception and show
• Worship and Remembrance Service to honor recently deceased alumni
• Campus historical art tour with Doug Smith P '23, '24, school archivist

A key feature of the weekend will be the address by Head of School Quentin McDowell P ’25, ’27 who will share insights on Mercersburg’s vision and priorities for the future. The event will also include the presentation of the Class of ’32 Distinguished Alumni Award—the school’s highest alumni honor—and Alumni Council Awards.
