Five members of the Mercersburg girls' track & field team travelled to Chambersburg, PA March 23 to face some early season competition in the Tim Cook Invitational.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, the 4 x 800 relay team of Anne Sehon '25, Quinn Nelson '24, Leah Willis '24, and Ella Blanco '26 set a new school record and took first place in the event. The time of 10:04.39 beat the previous record of 10:06.00 which was set in 2003.

Both the boys' and girls' teams will open their season with a meet at Landon School (Bethesda, MD) on Saturday, April 6 at noon.
