Mercersburg travelled to Frederick, MD for a varsity football game against Maryland School for the Deaf September 23, and fell to the Orioles 42-24.

MSD built a 24-12 lead at halftime and continued to play well with three more touchdowns in the second half.

Luke Golumbic '23 ran for one touchdown and threw for two more for Mercersburg, piling up a total of 190 passing yards.  Danny Adusei-Poku '23 had one touchdown reception while Christopher Thompkins '23 collected 149 receiving yards with one score.

"It was a hard fought game where we gave up too many big plays," said head coach Andy Brown.  "We are looking forward to getting back on track this week against Perkiomen for family and alumni weekend."

The Blue Storm (1-1) hosts the Panthers on Friday, September 30 at 4 p.m.
