The Storm finished in fourth place with a 3-2 record at the Independent School State Duals Wrestling Tournament January 25, hosted by Westtown School (West Chester, PA).

Mercersburg defeated Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA), George School (Newtown, PA), and Springside-Chestnut Hill (Philadelphia) during the day-long event.

"A number of our wrestlers boasted impressive individual records over the weekend," said head coach Justin Lorson, "notably Gavin Boyd '27, who finished 5-0, while Nick Rosenberry '28, Will Lavan '27, Billy Quick '25, and Amon Yamamoto '26 went 4-1. Ethan Shirk '27 and Jonny Nussdorfer '26 ended up 3-2. The PAISAA duals hosted many of the toughest schools in the region," Lorson continued, "and Mercersburg did an honorable job."

The Storm hosts Saint James (Hagerstown, MD) on Thursday, January 30 at 6 pm.
