Lawrenceville Snaps Girls' V Lacrosse Win Streak

The Blue Storm entered Saturday's (April 29) girls' varsity lacrosse game at Lawrenceville (NJ) on an 8-game winning streak, but the perennial MAPL powerhouse defeated Mercersburg by a score of 19-7.

Scarlett McArthur '24 had a solid day in the Mercersburg goal, coming up with six saves, but the Big Red was relentless and kept pressure on the Blue Storm defense for most of the game. Zarreen Sorho '23 scored four of the Mercersburg goals while Zareena Sorho '23 scored twice and had one assist. Linley Hill '23 scored the other Mercersburg goal and picked up an assist while Hailey Chepren dished out two assists.

Mercersburg (10-4, 1-2 MAPL) will try to start another winning streak when they visit The Park School (Baltimore) on Wednesday, May 3 at 4:30 pm.
