JV Volleyball Wins 9th Straight to end Season
Mercersburg defeated host Lighthouse Christian Academy (Cumberland, MD) 3-0 October 29 to finish the season on a nine-game winning streak.
The Blue Storm came out on fire, winning the first set by a score of 25-9. LCA fought back in the second set, but Mercersburg prevailed 25-19, and then took the third 25-17 to sweep the match.
Brie Wyant '26 had 5 aces while Shine Jo '25 had 4 to go along with a team high 18 assists. Elena Sans Perez '25 contributed 4 aces and 3 kills, and Lily Crounse '25 had 4 kills and 2 blocks. Mary Grady '25 (12 digs) and Katie Lee '26 (12 assists) also had big days on the stat sheets.
Mercersburg ends its season with a final record of 10-3.
