JV Basketball Teams Both Fall
The boys' JV basketball team fell to Southern Huntingdon high school (Three Springs, PA) 40-31 while the girls' team was defeated by McConnellsburg (PA) high school 22-17 in games played in Mercersburg on February 1.
Simon Brennan '26 led the boys' squad with 9 points while Haris Yahaya '24 and Orhan Abalioglu '24 each had 6.
Next up for the 5-4 boys' team is a home game against Highland View Academy (Hagerstown, MD) on Thursday, February 2 at 5 pm while the girls (4-5) play at Madeira (McLean, VA) on Tuesday, February 7 at 4 pm.
