The Hun School of Princeton defeated Mercersburg's field hockey team 4-0 in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League contest played on Regents' Field September 24.

The game was delayed for over an hour due to bus problems, but the Raiders showed no ill effects as they came out charging from the opening whistle.  Hun dominated possession throughout, but a strong Blue Storm defensive effort limited them to just one goal in the first half.  Paige Starkey '24 and Zareen Sorho '23 were particularly impressive on the defensive end, and goalie Zareena Sorho '23 had a number of beautiful saves.

Hun continued to apply the pressure in the second half and wore Mercersburg down, scoring once in the third period and twice in the fourth.

Mercersburg (2-3 overall, 0-1 MAPL) visits Forbes Road high school (Waterfall, PA) on Wednesday, September 28 at 4:00 p.m.
