Mercersburg hosted the "Back to School" indoor track meet January 13, which included 500 athletes from 20 schools.

Mercersburg Girls' Highlights:

Hannah King ’23 won the high jump at 5’ 0”.  Anne Sehon ’25 placed 2^nd in the 800m in a time of 2:27.74.  King, Sehon, Ella Blanco ’26, and Adrienne Howard ’26 teamed up to place 3^rd in the 4 x 400m relay in a time of 4:32.87. 

Mercersburg Boys' Highlights:

Oscar Su ’25 tied for 2^nd in the pole vault at 9’ 2”, adding over a foot to his previous best of 8’ 0”.  His vault ranks #7 all-time on the Mercersburg indoor track & field list.  Matt Archibald ’23 placed 2^nd in the long jump with a jump of 19’ 3”.  Charlie Xu ’26 placed 3^rd in the long jump with a jump of 18’ 9.25”, and he tied for 4^th in the high jump at 5’ 2”.  Cole Smith ’23 placed 3^rd in the 3200m in a time of 11:05.48.  Caleb Newcomer ’23 placed 5^th in the finals of the 55m dash with a time of 6.80.  

The Blue Storm will host the "Mid-Winter Madness Meet" on Saturday, January 21, beginning at noon.
