Arjun Patel '23 and Augie Bennett '23 combined on a one-hitter as visiting Mercersburg defeated Hill 3-1 May 6 in game two of a MAPL baseball doubleheader after Hill rallied to win game one 7-6.

Mercersburg had a 5-2 lead in the middle of the fifth inning of game one, but the Rams scored two runs in the fifth (one unearned) and three more unearned runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out the 7-6 win. Danny Adusei-Poku '23, Augie Bennett '23, and John Blanco had two hits each for the Storm in the first game. 

In the nightcap, Adusei-Poku had three of Mercersburg's seven hits and drove in two of the three runs. Meanwhile, Patel (5 innings pitched) and Bennett (2) delivered a gem on the mound. A leadoff single in the top of the first was the only hit of the game for Hill. Patel and Bennett struck out six Hill batters and surrendered just one walk while the Blue Storm collected single runs in the second, third, and fourth for the 3-1 win.
