Hedgesville came from behind to defeat the visiting Blue Storm 5-4 in a varsity baseball game May 3.

John Blanco '23 got Mercersburg off to a fast start with a three-run homer in the first, and Danny Adusei-Poku '23 added a solo shot in the third, but that would be all the scoring for the Blue Storm. The Eagles clawed their way back with a couple of runs in the third, two more (one unearned) in the sixth to tie it, and an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh to win the game. Mercersburg outhit Hedgesville seven to five, but walks and errors helped the Eagles pull it out.

Now 8-5, the Blue Storm travel to Hill (Pottstown, PA) for a MAPL doubleheader on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 1 pm.
