Mercersburg lost to host Lawrenceville 3-0 in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League girls' varsity volleyball match October 8.

The Big Red came out strong and won the first set 25-16, but Mercersburg battled hard in the second before falling 25-22. In the third set, Lawrenceville once again found a groove and closed out the match with a 25-16 win.

Eleana Sandy '24 led Mercersburg with 5 kills with Alli Caretti '26 adding 4. Sarah Howley '26 had 9 assists while Alyssa Lee '25 led the team with 5 digs.

The Blue Storm is now 3-7 and has a week off before hosting Blair Academy in another MAPL matchup on Saturday, October 15 at 1 p.m.
