Mercersburg won three out of four matches to claim the #5 spot in girls' Division IV at the U.S. Squash High School Nationals in Philadelphia the weekend of February 21-23.

The Storm entered the tournament as the #7 seed in Division IV and opened with a 4-3 victory over #10 McDonogh on Friday morning (February 21). On Saturday morning Mercersburg almost pulled off the upset against #2 Episcopal High School, but fell just short by a score of 4-3. After that, the Storm fought their way through the consolation bracket defeating the #6 team from Westminster School (Georgia) by a 4-3 margin on Saturday night and then knocking off #12 Westport (CT) 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

The girls' squash season is now complete.
