Mercersburg finished third in this year's Mid-Atlantic Prep League girls' varsity squash tournament, which was hosted by Lawrenceville on February 19.

The Storm was edged by Blair Academy in the semifinals by a score of 4-3 and then defeated Hill 6-1 in the consolation match to take third place. Lawrenceville defeated Blair in the title game. Ana Karen Botello '25, Hisano Enomoto '25, and Sarah Howley '26 each won both of their matches for Mercersburg.

Head coach Dominic Benacquista commented, "With MAPLs behind them, the team now shifts focus to nationals—where the girls will compete in Division IV. They’re ready to put forth a strong performance on the big stage."

The girls will finish their season at that national tournament--The U.S. High School Team Championships--at the Arlen Specter Center in Philadelphia from February 21-23.
