Mercersburg defeated visiting Martinsburg (WV) 22-3 in a girls' varsity lacrosse game May 3.
Emerson Lissette '24 had a huge night with seven goals and six assists! Alishya Thurmond '26 was close behind with five goals and also won twelve draw controls. Chloe Allis '25 had another big game with three goals and two assists and Sarah Howley '26 and Nora Smith '24 each contributed two goals and two assists. Paloma Casariego '24 and Emma Diianni '25 each had a goal and Casariego and Maria Rihn '24 each had one assist. Logan Pixler '26 completed the scoring with her first ever varsity goal! Scarlett McArthur '24 and the defense did not have much action, but Scarlett did pick up six saves in goal.
The Storm is now 7-7 and will host Saint James (Hagerstown, MD) on Wednesday, May 8 at 4 pm.
