Girls' V Basketball Wins Final Home Game

Mercersburg defeated visiting Shalom Christian Academy 72-37 in a girls' varsity basketball game February 13.  

The game was the final home contest for the four Mercersburg senior players, who were honored before tipoff along with manager Emma DiLalla '24. The seniors, Raquel Cordero Cordoba '24, Madison Goodhart '24, Nia Henley '24, and Leilani Isel-Register '24 then took the court and cruised to victory over the Flames. Isel-Register put up a career high 21 points to lead the scoring while Henley added 20 and Annie Mohr '26 and Lilly Crounse '25 had 10 points each.

Mercersburg (17-7) will now finish out the season by competing in the PAISAA State Tournament, which begins with a first round game at The George School (Newtown, PA) on Friday, February 16 at 5:30 pm.
