Girls’ V Basketball Romps Past NCS
Mercersburg’s girls’ varsity basketball team posted a 48–29 road win over National Cathedral School December 7 in Washington, DC.
It was the Blue Storm’s first win of the season, and came on the strength of strong second and third quarters that saw Mercersburg outscore the hosts by a 32-10 count.
Rachel Hull ’23 scored a team-high 17 points, while Madison Goodhart ’24 and Cate Vickery ’22 added 12 points apiece.
The Storm (1-2) visits Bishop Walsh High School Friday, December 10, at 6 p.m. in Cumberland, MD.
