Hun defeated Mercersburg 49-47 in the semifinal round of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League girls' varsity basketball tournament, which was played at Lawrenceville February 15.

This was the third time this season that the Raiders knocked off the Storm, though this was the closest of the three contests. Hun led by just one (17-16) after a very low-scoring first half, but both teams got rolling in the third period, which ended with Mercersburg on top 37-36. Hun converted more opportunities in the final quarter and pulled out the win.

Mercersburg is now 15-7 and will host Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) in the first round of the PAISAA state tournament on Friday, February 21 at 5 pm.
