Mercersburg's girls' track team finished eighth out of twenty-one teams at the PAISAA state track and field championships held at Malvern (PA) Prep on May 20.

Madison Goodhart '24 was the top performer as she emerged as the state champion in the javelin with a mark of 101-5 and took 5th place in the 400M dash with a time of 1:01:13. Hannah King '23 was the runner-up in the high jump as she cleared 5-0 while Erika Tso Sowah '24 took 7th in both the triple jump (32-3.5) and long jump (16-1.75). Anne Sehon '25 finished right behind Goodhart in the 400M dash, taking 6th place in a time of 1:01.59. Several members of the Blue Storm boys' team competed but did not place.

The track season is now complete.
