The girls' JV basketball team ended its season on a three-game winning streak by knocking off St. James 35-11 on the road on February 5 and then recording back to back home victories against Bedford County CIA (38-26 on February 14) and the Hill School (19-14 on February 15).
Hana Vogtman '27 hit seven three-pointers and scored 23 of the team's 38 against Bedford while Kaodi Nzeribe '28 pulled down 8 rebounds and scored her first bucket of the season. Vogtman hit a couple more threes against Hill the next day and Liza Hoa chipped in five points and played a solid overall game.
Head coach Michaela Singer commented that "After losing to Bedford in the beginning of the season, this was a great game to showcase how much better we have all gotten." Regarding the Hill game, Singer added, "Everyone got a chance to play this game and it was a great way to end the season!"
The Storm won four of their last five games to finish with a record of 4-4.
