Eleven independent schools descended on The Hale Field House February 17 for the PAISAA Indoor Track Championships. The Mercersburg girls' team finished second out of those eleven teams while the boys' snagged seventh.
The highlight of the day for the Storm was the girls' 4 x 400 relay team of Anne Sehon '25, Adrienne Howard '26, Leah Willis '24, and Quinn Nelson '24 shattering the school record in the event by three seconds and crossing the line first with a time of 4:15.12. Bella Levina '25 once again tied her own school record in the pole vault by clearing 9' 3".
"This has really been an outstanding year for Mercersburg indoor track," said head coach Betsy Cunningham, "with so many new school records and state qualifiers. I feel so excited by the PR's and improvements all of the athletes have made this year. I am thrilled about our trajectory and looking forward to next year. Thank you to all of the athletes and coaches who have made this year so successful."

A few athletes qualified for the full state meet, which will be held on the campus of Penn State University (State College, PA) on Sunday, February 25.
