On a wet and sloppy Saturday morning, the girls' cross country team hosted five teams for the Mercersburg Invitational October 1, and took second place overall.

Georgetown Day (Washington, DC) took three of the top four spots, and five of the top seven to  cruise to the team title. Ella Blanco '26 finished third overall to lead the Blue Storm to its second place showing.

The runners and their times for the Blue Storm were:

For Willis and Hill these times were the best of the season while Chen, Wallace, and Promphan all ran lifetime PR's.

Mercersburg heads to Gettysburg, PA for the Gettysburg Invite on Saturday, October 8, beginning at 8 a.m. This is the team's last event before the MAPL Championship race on Wednesday, October 26.
