A late second quarter surge carried Mercersburg past Peddie (Hightstown, NJ) 57-35 in the first round of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League girls' basketball tournament February 10. The tournament is being played in Mercersburg this year.

The teams were tied at 9 after the first period, but with a couple minutes left before half, the Blue Storm found another gear, outscoring the Falcons 21-9 in the quarter overall to take a 12-point lead into the locker room. Annie Mohr '26 scored 15 of her game-high 25 points during that period to lead Mercersburg. Peddie stayed within striking distance through the third, but another surge in the fourth quarter put the game out of reach.

Rachel Hull '23 added 10 points for Mercersburg, who will take on #2 Hun (Princeton, NJ) in the semi-finals on Saturday, February 11 at 5:15 pm.
