A strong fourth quarter carried the girls' varsity basketball team to a 45-35 win over Hun School (Princeton, NJ), and advanced them to the championship game of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League.

Both teams were a bit flat in the first half, which ended with second-seeded Hun on top by two. The margin remained the same after the third period, but early in the fourth, the Blue Storm (the #3 seed) went on a run and wound up outscoring the Raiders 20-8 in the final quarter to take the win. Annie Mohr '26 led Mercersburg with 17 points while Madison Goodhart '24 added 10 and Raquel Cordero '24 had 7.

Mercersburg will take on #1 Blair Academy on Sunday, February 12 at 2 pm, right here on the Plantz Courts at Mercersburg Academy.
