Mercersburg was defeated by host Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA) 12-1 in the second round of the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association softball tournament May 19.

A day after defeating Friends Select at home, the seventh-seeded Blue Storm made the three-hour ride to Germantown Academy to take on the #2 Patriots. Mercersburg took a brief 1-0 lead on four consecutive walks in the top of the second, but GA put up seven runs in the bottom half and pulled away from there.

The Blue Storm concludes its season with a final record of 11-11.
