Quin Caretti '24 struck out 13 opposing hitters and allowed no hits as the Blue Storm blanked St. Maria Goretti 10-0 April 26 in a game played in Hagerstown.

Two Gaels hitters drew walks and one reached on an error, but Caretti was locked in and recorded 13 of the 18 outs by strikeout (the game ended after six innings due to the 10-run rule). The Blue Storm scored in every inning but the fifth as they slowly built the lead to 10-0. Stevie Keck '26 was the only repeat hitter with a single and a double and she also scored two runs. Kam Jenkins '26 led Mercersburg with three runs scored while Pritz Pritzker '25 and Alli Caretti '26 each had two RBI.

Mercersburg (5-6) visits Lawrenceville (NJ) for a MAPL doubleheader on Saturday, April 29 beginning at 1 pm.
